The blastomere biopsy pipette is used to remove blastomeres from embryos for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
The pipette has two tip styles: Z (flat) and X (beveled), with five inner diameters: 20μm, 25μm, 30μm, 36μm, and 40μm, of which, inner diameters of 20 μm and 25 μm are recommended for trophectoderm (TE) biopsy. Every pipette is designed with a fire-polished edge to avoid damage to the cell membrane.
The tip angle is 0°-45°, and the tip-to-elbow length is 0.55mm.
A plate contains 10 aseptically packaged blastomere biopsy pipettes, all of which have passed the MEA.
